Hay muchas razones para ello. En un pa\u00eds que experimenta altas temperaturas no solo durante el verano, es natural que este elemento se convierta en uno de los m\u00e1s importantes. Sin embargo, para la mayor\u00eda de los conductores, el mantenimiento del aire acondicionado sigue siendo un misterio. Se habla tanto del tema que es dif\u00edcil distinguir entre la verdad y el mito. Aclararemos algunos de los mitos m\u00e1s comunes:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\">El aire acondicionado aumenta considerablemente el consumo de combustible.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Mito<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\"><strong>.<\/strong> El aumento t\u00edpico ronda el 10%, y puede llegar al 20% en las situaciones de conducci\u00f3n urbana m\u00e1s extremas; por lo tanto, est\u00e1 lejos de &#8220;duplicar el consumo&#8221;, como algunos afirman. El mayor impacto se produce en coches con motores de baja potencia, al circular a baja velocidad en ciudad. En carretera, el consumo es significativamente menor.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Solo debe encenderse cuando haga mucho calor.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Mito.<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\">\u00a0\u00a0El aire acondicionado se puede usar en cualquier clima sin efectos negativos, incluso en climas fr\u00edos, donde ayuda a circular el aire caliente. Tambi\u00e9n ayuda a deshumidificar el aire dentro del habit\u00e1culo, reduciendo el empa\u00f1amiento de las ventanas.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\">El aire acondicionado provoca contaminaci\u00f3n y da\u00f1a la capa de ozono.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Mito<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\"><strong>.<\/strong> Los coches antiguos ten\u00edan sistemas de refrigeraci\u00f3n que utilizaban CFC, el mismo compuesto que se usaba en aerosoles y frigor\u00edficos antiguos. Esta sustancia, en efecto, da\u00f1aba la capa de ozono. Sin embargo, dej\u00f3 de utilizarse en los sistemas de aire acondicionado de los coches hace m\u00e1s de veinte a\u00f1os.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Los sistemas de aire acondicionado son una aut\u00e9ntica incubadora de enfermedades respiratorias.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><span dir=\"auto\">Mito<\/span><\/strong><span dir=\"auto\"><strong>.<\/strong> Al igual que cualquier sistema de ventilaci\u00f3n, el aire acondicionado de un coche necesita mantenimiento peri\u00f3dico y limpieza del filtro para eliminar la suciedad acumulada. Como cualquier aire acondicionado, incluidos los de hogares y oficinas, puede desarrollar moho, por ejemplo, debido a la humedad.
